organic and enviromental friendly

Ramie is a environmental friendly fiber. Ramie is also known as grasscloth. This fiber is irregular fiber, long, lustrous, and fine. Ramie is more environmental friendly then both cotton and flax. Ramie is also a good fiber because it is fast growing and it can be harvest year around every 60 days.

Ramie is strong and abrasion resistant but also brittle with low elasticity. It has poor resiliency. Also, ramie is stiff and rough but it has good absorbency. This fiber may not be 100 % what you would want your clothing to be made out of but its one of the best fibers grown that is environmental friendly and can be grown organically.

This fiber has been around for about 6000 years. Ramie is produced in China, Philippines, and Brazil.
