My favorite designer is Gabrielle Coco Chanel. She has a very unique style and she never followed the patter of other designers. She had her own very original designers which made her so fabulous. Coco Chanel is known for the little black dress which I love! She took that big risk of the black strapless dress but it was so great because it was the first of its kind and great because it could be worn in the day or night.
What I love the most about Channels designs are her accessories! Her earrings, pocketbooks, and perfume are to die for. All her items are so classy and elegant. I do not own any of her clothing but I do own many of her pocketbooks and earrings and love them so much. The Coco Chanel symbol is beautiful. The C’s to each others back is a sheik look. I researched Coco Chanel and found out that the Chanel symbol was in fact not her own design which I was shocked about. It was given to her from the owner of the Chateau de Cremat.
In Gabrielle Channels lifetime she has done so much for the fashion industry. She was a great French fashion designer! She changed the way many dressed from the stiff cloths that women use to wear to beautiful clothing that showed some skin and was comfortable. Chanel formed a whole new way of dress. She was not scared of what people thought of her she wasn’t scared to take risk which made Coco Chanel what she is today, a fashion icon.

I enjoy reading about CoCo Chanel, especially since you said that she had her own original designers. Love the black strapless dress! To take the risk and go out on your own in this competitive fashion world, it shows confidence and desire to be you. There was a movie about her and I meant to see it. The previews really looked good and it was visible with just a brief glimpse that she displayed her unique creativity!
