sweatshops
I am pro sweatshops. I do not agree with the conditions that the workers have to work in by any means. They no don't get paid nearly enough and it is really sad to see the conditions they have to work with. The reason why I am for sweatshops is because it gives people an opportunity to provide for their family. People working in sweatshops probably would not be able to get a job else where. Even though they are making about two dollars an hour that is still enough for the family to get by. It also gives a chance for the other family members to go to school. Also, the sweatshops keeps them out of trouble. They could be on the streets doing prostitution but they are working hard to provided for their family's.

I agree with your opinion regarding the approach you are taking, however I think that if we looked at the CEO's of these companies we would see someone who is becoming absurdly wealthy off the backs of slave labor. In addition to this the workers who many say should be thankful are coming down with life threatening diseases, which are a direct result of the conditions in which they are living. So, I ask what good is the little bit of money they are making if they die later from the conditions.
Having said all of this, I do not believe that sweat shops will ever be eradicated, but if we do not try and do something more for these people then I believe we have become a depraved human race with no regard for others.
